Backyard Exploration with Kids
Through experiential gardening, mindfulness practices, and a reflective curriculum, we empower children to cultivate thriving gardens while developing a deeper connection to themselves. This experience is more about play and curiosity and environmental and garden education while allowing the child to gain a deeper understanding of their relationship within their surroundings. We use certain themes each time we meet but are always open to spontaneous and emergent learning. Every moment is a learning moment.
Garden of Awareness
We use gardening as a reflective processing piece. Each lesson plan contains both a garden activity and a reflection piece that takes the participant into a deeper world of healing and joy looking at limiting beliefs and transforming them. The garden itself is a place of nourishment and safety and a space of being and doing. And with guidance and themes, it can also be a space of transformation.
This takes place in backyards, community gardens, our site, or other green spaces.
Deep Transformational Coaching
For every thought we have, there is a corillary corespondent chemical reaction translated through our emotions, through sensations, through chemical and hormonal communication and through electromagnetism. Or beliefs inform our thoughts and our thoughts inform our bodies which informs the world we create. Through thought medicine, we inquire into our limiting beliefs that could be sabataging our ability to create the world we want.
Garden Installations
This curriculum will take the participant from seed to harvest including soil science, natural and organic pest management techniques, compost, companion planting and more.
