Cob Connection (2005-2010)
Strategic Partnerships: City of Chicago, Advocates for Urban Agriculture, Growing Power, Neighborspace, Openlands, Boeing, Chicago Public Schools, After school Matters
Cob Connection designed and implemented four farming sites on the west side of Chicago. Each site represented a different component of our food system. One micro-farm was committed to education and workshops. Another offered job skills training, the third site was all about community food security and the fourth site was devoted to after school and summer youth programs.
